Help Setting up BQM - Fritz!Box 7530

[link to this post]

I have changed my Internet Provider from BT to Zen. My previous BT HomeHub 6 router did not support BQM.

Zen Internet provided a Fritz!Box 7530 router and have allocated fixed IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. I am trying to set up BQM for both addresses. However, the router does not respond to ICMP pings and I cannot find a setting in the router menus to enable pings.

Is this router compatible with BQM and if so, how to I enable ICMP pings?

I have the same 7530 with a different ISP and the option to block ICMP traffic is under the following and should be unchecked to allow ICMP traffic:

Internet -> Filters -> Lists -> Global Filter settings -> Firewall in stealth mode

Be aware the Zen may send out configuration updates to your fritz box that will check it again even if you uncheck it. I don't know if Zen use CGNAT, however that would also prevent the BQM working as essentially your external IP address will not be specific to you in that scenario.
