Is BQM poorly?

[link to this post]

My BQM seems to have died this morning at about 3am. Was working, then about 1hour with no response, then solid red. Nothing changed here and Internet seems to be working fine. Anyone else having problems?

Mine is fine. Have you checked that your public IP address hasn't changed? Have you tried rebooting your rooter in case it has decided to stop responding to pings?

Not using IPv6 are you?

Interesting. For BQM I’m using DDNS via my Synologist nas drive. I noticed my Fritzbox updated the OS about 10 days ago the TBB speed test reports my IP in IPv6 format. Perhaps that’s relevant.

Some have found as ISPs enable IPv6 that using the web browser to update the BQM ends up using the IP of the device you are browsing from and not your router. Lots of discussion in other forums.

Thanks for that. As I mentioned I am due to update to FTTP next week so I will wat until after the migration and then use ipv4 address.
