I'm trying to upgrade to BT Total Broadband through bt.com/btbroadband, but as I'm an existing customer the page insists on me entering my @btinternet.com or @btopenworld.com email address. But I have never used BT for my email, and even checking back through the welcome emails I recieved when first signing up with BT Broadband, there's no mention of these details!
If I don't tick the 'existing customer' box it starts talking about free connection etc. so I'm worried they'll mess up and cut me off for a while, then reconnect me as a new customer...
Does anyone know if it's possible to get round this, or what those details could be?
