Home Hub - Random re-syncs

Have had a Home Hub in use for about 2 weeks now but it seems to randomly re-sync for no obvious reason but at a noise margin of 18db and obviously a much lower sync. A re-boot brings it back to 9db. My old Voyager 2110 would sync at 7616Kbs @ 9db for ever and a day (interleaved line and target of 9db) but the Home Hub has never managed that speed. Thanks to this i am currently stuck on a 4Mb profile so i reinstalled the Voyager and for the last week that has never lost sync at 7616Kbs but of course i am still stuck on a 4Mb profile. Have phoned India but didn't get much joy there.

Is this just a [censored] router or is mine faulty?

I have given up on Bt tech support in India, I am just waiting for a call back from the director of customer services as I am sick fed up of them, they are very incompetent.

Also I have had problems with the hub and speed, just call THD and report it faulty, the next will be the same mind you. It is a poor quality cheap modem.
