normal router and voip adaptor

[link to this post]

has anyone got a normal router and a voip adaptor to use the broadband talk in stead of the home hub ?

i'm considering keeping my 3com office connect modem/router/firewall and using a after market voip adaptor to plug in a dect phone and use the talk on my broadband line.

anyone already doing this ?

It will do the trick, it wont work with the hub phone, but I have one set up at the moment it's perfect.

What you need to do is to connect it like it says in the book and set it all up. Once you have done that put your network back to the way it was and then just have it connected into another port on the hub. Works a treat!
