Changing MTU and RWIN on BT Home Hub?

[link to this post]

I've got the BT Home Hub and my MTU seems to be 1300. Is there anyway of changing the MTU and RWIN values on the hub?

Already tried DRTCP. The values don't stick. Any other ideas?

i believe Drtcpip only changes the mtu and rwin on your windows box and not on your router. I am not sure how to change the value on the homehub. not something i have thought about.

It is in the telnet interface which is similar to a cisco router.

Well if you cant find it I suggest you dont go mucking about inside it lightly.

win key+ R

Type into the box "cmd" you will now have command prompt.

Type in "telnet 192.168.1.254" username and pass are admin and look about it. It is very complex, like I say it is like a cisco router interface.
