My younger brother was suppose to have had his number porterd, from BT to Virgin Media and BT screwed that up.

Well what a surprise. Had a similar rant in here the other day about BT.

Ordered PSTN line for a charity so they could have ADSL instead of ISDN took BTO 3 months to install the line and even then the engineer claimed it would cost

very interresting post, but i dont see any reference to the actual specifics of the problem between bulldog and OPENREACH (not BT , but a seperate division of BT wholesale whom all companies, including BT Retail have equal access to - without one company favouring another). . . So, your rant is very detailed in your dislike of BT, but I fail to see anywhere within it the actual specific nature of the problem. Surely someone would have told you what exactly went wrong

"Openreach ... all companies, including BT Retail have equal access to - without one company favouring another"

Allegedly.

Maybe it's a start, but...

Whose bottom line does Openreach go on to? Whose senior managers have been expense-lunching together for decades? Etc.

Doing my usual skim read their I cant even be bothered like most people here to read your post. We come on here in our spare time to maybe help a few people and you take it to the next level venting out all your anger on us. What problem you have I don't know, between your vague references to BT and what appears to be your need to swear every few lines. I simply cannot find it in me to even read your post.

if you're not interested in the details and just want to see what has me so incensed - scroll to the bottom of this post (under the line), and read my final statement (which I'll write first, just for you..)

I have to agree with paulbeattie87 about the original post and in spite of his asking for clarification I still have no idea what the OP's problem is/was apart from a dislike of BT. Long posts like that are likely to be ignored so I guess the moral is if you want help or even a little sympathy KISS (Keep It Short)

No dial tone on a bully line! Now that is a surprise

BT got you back online in a short time and your free to go to the isp of your choice . Sounds like pretty good service to me.

I would expect a decent brief would know the difference between paranoia and proof.
