Acceptable number of disconnects per day?

[link to this post]

Hi,

I've been on Option 3 for some 5 months now and go through periods of significant instability on the line in terms of numbers of disconnects per day and then can go for a week without any disconnects.

Does anyone have a view on what number of disconnects per day or rate of disconnects you need to be experiencing before BT will take notice?

I was using the HomeHub but have reverted back to my original Voyager 2091 as it appears more stable than the Hub.

My stats have been consistent with around 3200kbps sync speed on a 2500 profile.
Downstream Attenuation is a consistent 53dB and Downstream Noise Margin is 15.4dB

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

zero is the number you are looking for here!!!!!!

if you are having constant disconnects you shouldnt be, occasional disconnects are ok or disconnects caused by the weather (thunder and lightning storms in the summer).

would suggest that you make sure you do all of the usuall tests

Are you in the test socket in the master ?

all filters ok ?

what other cpe do you have plugged in etc etc

I had an average of around 5 net drops a day for about a year until I finally got round to replacing my BT Voyager 210 router with a Netgear router. That was 17 days ago and I still haven

Not all of them

My voyager 2110 happens to be extremely stable.

Had a dlink dsl-g624t before that and was constantly resetting the thing.
