Provisioning/Regrade speed question

When I first had broadband installed my line stats led BT to provide my line on a fixed-speed product (IPStream Home 1000 for the interested). I've been fairly happy with this as exchanging speed for stability seemed a reasonable swap - however .....

We've been having problems for the last few weeks with the line dropping sync and being unable to reconnect. The nice BT man has been out today and replaced various bits of wire (Which apparently were damaged) outside my property.

If this has caused my line stats to improve (Can't check at the moment as I'm at work away from my router & not sure wife would know where to look on the Router to find the stats!) do you think I would have a reasonable case to get BT to regrade me onto Max?

Yeah if the BT Wholesale checker will let you then their should be no problem. Its 0800 800 150 follow options for broadband sales.

check out www.btwholesale.com/getbroadband if this link suggests over 2meg max then swap otherwise stay as your are unless your stats are really good. my old line would carry between 1 and 2 meg on max and it was a right pain i wished i had stayed fixed speed 1 meg as my bras profile was all over the place and the most you can really improve by was half a meg
