Evening disconnections/gaming. Please help.

Option 2 user here with Homehub since November last year.
I have started to have a problem whereby my connection drops at evenings. So, I'll be playing CoD2 and it starts to get a bit laggy, then I stop, try to refresh the servers and there aren't any! Sure enough, I don't have an internet connection either. At this time, it's the same on both computers in the house (wireless+wired). **Limited or no connection** You know the thing. However, all the lights on the hub are solid green.
Power-cycling the Homehub brings back the connection. Unacceptable.
One hour on the phone last night to India, now an engineer is contacting me in the next 48 hours. Apparently I have errors on the line test but it's got to be the Homehub surely?? Can the hub handle gaming? It used to but then I used to be able to connect to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. multiplayer. What's happening?

Yeah the hub handles mine and my friends gaming without a hitch (all on BT). Make sure your hub is well ventilated and not overheating. Try factory resetting it next time to see if it stops locking up as much. Mine does it once every week or so at most.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I could handle it locking-up once-a-week, but this is a bit more often than that. Funny thing is, it's been fine for 6 months. I've factory reset it a number of times and even reinstalled the 6.2.2.6 firmware. Still locks-up pretty regularly.

Could be overheating I have seen that happen before when folks have it in stupid places. If it does not improve call up Tech Help and they should send you a new one as it shouldn't be doing that.

Ive had it a couple of times when my voyager 2110 drops the PPoA session (internet net light goes out) and refuses to re-establish it until i reboot it.

Think its the voyager having a funny moment in my case though.

Mind you much more stable than my home hub was.

Well, 3 calls later to BT and I have a new Home Hub coming in 3 working days. Last night I had to power-cycle twice and factory reset once. Sometimes I have an internet connection but cannot acces the router's homepage .. it just hangs. I hope the new Home Hub's ok. I think they're fine for gaming when they work.
