Slow Speeds.

[link to this post]

I have read a few post and im being affected by the slow speeds as well but there seems to be a slow down in people saying there are still being affected. Let me know if anyone is still unable to do anything at night time or has anyone noticed any improvement?

Ah, but the question is once you've gone over BT's limit will your speeds go to pot again?

Anyhow, pleased that for some users speeds are returning - however I won't return to them anytime soon even if they gave it to me for free for the rest of my life!

Thats a nice cop out!

If its near the fault but its not a fault in their eyes or flaw. Whatever twist in words they want to put it.

Still, touching wood and with as many fingers as possible crossed, the speeds for me are nothing like as erratic as they were. I can't speak for those trying to download "a film a day", though.

Mines been running at atleast acceptable levels at peak times for the last week or so - HTTP still drops down to 900-2300kbit (fluctuates quite a lot) during peak times which is probably due to congestion - but atleast thats useable unlike the <0.5Mbit speeds I was getting before.

EDIT: Just done a speed test (during peak time) and got 3.3Mbit down - lower than my "normal" speeds but perfectly acceptable

I'm glad it is improving for you, but just to annoy you:

When I was with BT, at this time I would be getting 0.2 - 0.5MB. Needless to say I am very, very happy.

Till about last wednesday I've had <0.5mbps during 6pm-11pm and I meant to have 6.5mbps.
I'm fed up with them and switched to Be and it works perfectly
Regards.
