Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.

IP profile for your line is - 250 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 2112 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 146 kbps

Looks like something is wrong with my IP profile.

has it been steady on that ip profile for more than 3 days, as there is further 3 day "training" after disconnection. If it is the same (give it some time, then your bras profile is likely stuck, get on to bt and raise merry ell. try phoning 150 (faults) and select the broadband option, you will (hopefully) get an english operator

Been stuck for two days now. I will call BT in a moment.

Realyweely, I have tried a Draytek Vigor 2800+ and a Netgear DG834G, both give me the same stuck profile of 250kb/s.

News!

They cannot do such a thing as reseting BRAS or fix my IP profile (yeah right!). I have been told to call BT Exchange on 0800800151.

EDIT: Now sent to 08456007030.

EDIT 2: They have called a fault at the extension, BRAS should reset in the next 48 hours.

I also asked about port 80 throttling, it was beyond the knowledge. However, he noted it, and asked for me to call about it after 48 hours. It also got him stumped when I said I was using Solaris and HPUX.

Well, 250k has gone, but now stuck at 1000k. BT called when I was not in, I'm guessing so they can close the problem. I think I will keep it open until I do not have a fixed profile. I'm synced at 2.2Mb.
