Hasta La Vista, BT!

Placed my order with BE and due for activation on 5th Jan... BE Unlimited with 1 month free and free connection. My estimated download speed will be 17meg with no traffic shaping

Even though i didnt pay for BT (mothers staff account) I just couldnt bare the poor p2p speeds and the frequent crashes of the homehub. Although Vision was only used to record the daily soaps i think i'll prob opt for Sky+ box.

Did you have to give a months notice ?

If so did you give your notice and ask for your mac at a later date?

I wasnt on any minimum term as it was a staff connection deal... I just called and within 5 days had the mac sent to my e-mail... as soon as i got that i then placed my order with BE

I think i will need to give a month and then when the month is nearly up get my mac?

Any thoughts people.

If your out of your min contract term then i guess all you have to do is call and get your MAC... Once your mac has been used and your new ISP is active then BT Total Broadband should cancel automaticaly, this should stop any further charges... Best thing to do is ring them on 0800 800 030

I have a few months left, just want to know the best way around this. BT was a big mistake but now my exchange has been unbundled by loads of suppliers in the last year, so i am deffo out of here.
