Charge for BB Contract Commitment

My contract with BT was up on around 20 November. I pay my bill quarterly and had paid up until the end of December 2008.

I moved to Sky on 10 November.

On my final bill from BT they have refunded �36 in rental charges but then charged me �14 for a 'Charge for BB Contract Commitment'.

If I had already paid my contact, why are they charging me for leaving early?

I was on option 3 (max).

At a guess , seems about right.
They have given you �36 back ( for the period from when you migrated to the end of your billing period), then deducted for leaving leaving before the minimum term ended.
In all, they owed you about a months BB charges �36-�14=�22, so seems `about' right for Option 3
