Yes. thanks for the reminder, Zigtec.
As Ade has suggested, the referrer Vivaciti claims they have nothing to hide whilst pimping their wares on the BT forum. Yet they take great pains to hide who they are, whether they are a sole trader, a limited company or a partnership. They also take great care in not revealing their address. Perhaps it really is in a flowerpot at the bottem of Ade's garden.
As you suggest, UKFSN, although not actively pimping on the BT forum and having recently taken to the forum hills, take great pains to claim that they give all their profits to 'worthy causes' yet their is no evidence they have given any money to 'worthy causes' since a meager £250 way back in 2005.
In any case, the fines due for UKFSN for late filings are many times the amount they gave to 'worthy causes' way back in the mists of time. Let's hope that UKFSN survive long enough to pay the fines and are not struck off before they have chance to hand over the money to the 'worthy causes'
Indeed UKFSN on their website claim that they are members of an OFCOM Approved ADR, OTELO, as is required of all communication providers, even systemless resellers.Yet OTELO don't show UKFSN as members at all.
So perhaps being wary of 'fly by night' referrers who market their wares on Thinkbroadband's forum free of charge is very good advice from the OP.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
