Option 3 renewal offers

[link to this post]

I'm currently an option 3 subscriber but my contract ran out a couple of months ago..

Has anyone renewed recently? What have they been offered?

The 14mbps homeplugs i got with my btvision box are knackered so wouldn't mind a new 200mbps pair of them to get the btv up and running again, and a new homehub would be good because my laptop has .11n

Has anyone got anything like this? Want to check before i ring,

Cheers,
Christian

Hi Christian,

I'm on option 3 like you and my contract ran out over 6 months ago and BT haven't contacted me. The last time they did knock off £3/month off my broadband (price valid as long as I was a customer). I'm guessing that they're prioritising getting new customers right now. Which I think is a bad idea as they should be looking at keeping their existing ones.

We got a fiver off a month for life a few years ago. Probably gonna ship to o2 soon though unless BT can somehow offer us option 3 for < £10

Thanks for the replies...

I rang up a couple of days ago. She said that because we're on an exchange which hasn't got any LLU providers they can only offer £2.50 a month discount and a free home hub for a 12 month contract.

Cheers,
Christian.
