Hi,
We just got BT Broadband installed (unfortunately) on a 21CN WBC-enabled exchange. I thought the migration to ADSL2+ was automatic for BT's customers? Our HomeHub is still connected with G.992.1 Annex A. How do we get ADSL2+?
Thanks
Our line just upgraded automatically one evening a couple of months ago.. We're long out of contract. Some friends on the same exchange and also with BT are still on ADSL though.
I figured because we've been with BT for so long we got first dibbs but, being cynical, I reckon we were actually upgraded because we live on the edge of town and our speed hasn't improved at all because we were already as fast as is possible. The upload has jumped to 750k though. My mates live near the town centre and would easily be getting a vast speed jump and I doubt BT would like that really so they're being held on 8mbit ADSL
I could be wrong but the geeks in control of the exchanges aren't as thick as some other people in BT

BT Broadband, roughly 4mbit sync
4KM line / 54dB atten / 9dB SNR / Netgear DG834GT
