Yeah but he is right though...

BT broadband - 21CN anyway is a steaming pile of [censored].

It's 3.30am and I'm on 21CN 20MB - sometimes I get over 10mb and 26ms latency to UK sites..

Right now I'm getting 500ms and less than 100kbs... I'm trying to work overnight to earn some dough and it's like I'm based in the fkin North Pole. It's 3.30 AM!!!!

I've been trying to get a MAC code for two weeks - no joy. They even extended my contract with my consent....

BT are to me are a bunch of *********************ards!

That's never good. If they've not issued the MAC in the allowed time frame, you should drop their chiefs office a call.

020 7356 5000, they will arrange for a call back - which you will get.

This recently happened to a new customer of ours and they had a MAC code within 2 hours after the call back.

Good luck!

Yes btinternet really are rubbish, I have been waiting years to dump them and now virgin media have laid fibre optic cable in our street I can't wait until May 17th when we kiss good buy to their dreadful copper cabling ASDL technology and actually get real broadband through cabling that actually has a decent bandwidth.

Recently at popular times of the day it has not been possible to do shoping online or play games its been like the old days of dial up at 56kbs, absolute rubbish !!!

Don't blame BT - blame successive governments who have refused to allow BT to provide fibre to the home. They tried, as far back as 1985 and were refused.

We *did* have HDTV years ago......HD1 began broadcasting in Jan 2004 and I first watched it in 2005.
