It will automatically go up - just give it a few days.

It could do.. We're seeing some take slightly longer.

Has the line dropped at all in that period, even for a second or two, to a lower rate thus keeping it there?

There is a possibility i guess, but not to my knowledge.
How long do you think I should leave it for before I check again and ask BT if necessary

I'd say leave it till Thursday evening.. if not, call BT on Friday morning - so it can be looked into before the weekend.

Does your router have a log of when it syncs/resyncs with the line rate?

Never used one of those - maybe someone else can advise if there are logs that would show you if it had dipped in the last few days.

If so, you have a line issue and the profile will not go up if the sync keeps dipping so no matter of 'emailing the top' is going to just fix it.

I think RouterStats Lite should work with the BT Hub just by choosing the closest from the drop-down menu.

That can graph (and keep a log file) 24/7 if you run the computer and router like that.

So all connection speed changes would show up, and importantly the noise margin.

Hey,

To get the stats for the BT Home Hub 2.0 including the sync rate and log type 192.168.1.254/bb_dsl.lp into your browser and enter the Hub Admin password and click ok. If you do not know your password it is written on the back of your hub.
