Perhaps it should be sync'ing at a lower speed to eliminate the errors but for some reason it's staying connected so is there anything I can do to eliminate those errors?

A higher noise margin and this slower speed may reduce them - but are they affecting you? Probably not as they will all be corrected and the data you receive uncorrupted.

Sometimes DNS resolution is slow and clicking a link results in it hanging even when the link is on the same website which had quickly loaded previously but that could be another type of problem as I've read of others having the same issue.
I was more wondering about the vast number of errors as it seemed unusual and an indication of a problem. My testing so far is inconclusive as I've been using the Asus 900A netbook and when I tried iPlayer and YouTube it was playing without pausing but it was skipping frames likely due to the slowness of the netbook?
Oh yeah and the BT ADSL Checker said the line estimate was 6MB but since being connected and having lots of disconnections and line noise it's now saying only 2MB which is kinda strange considering it's connected at almost 14MB!
Also the IP Profile was 2000K due to line noise causing a lot of disconnections but since I fixed the line noise it changed the next day to it's current setting of 5000K and I tested at speedtest.net and saw ~4.9MB download and 0.9MB upload on multiple occasions so it's seemingly performing close to it's allowed maximum.
I'll have a few computers setup soon so will be able to test more but for now it seems there aren't any issues with the errors.

There's something odd going on as those stats say you are on interleaved, but the FECs are zero. That's almost impossible given the other errors that are being reported.
CRCs need retransmission, HECs I'm not sure.

That's what I thought, it didn't appear to be reporting correctly, or something strange was going on.
Latest as of two days ago was the line has a ton of noise again (constant shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and frequent crackling) and the sync is 5k to 10k randomly with occasional 2k and disconnects frequently especially when the phone rings.
I did the online fault reporting and it said there is no fault on the line.
I'm not there all that much as I haven't actually moved in yet and I had hoped it would sort itself out but unfortunately it's worse.

Try with the router unplugged to see if you still get the noise, this may take a few random attempts ,or you could try disconnecting the adsl cable from the router while using the phone ie doing a bt quite line test 17070 option2, as sometimes this will cause the noise to start, depending how bad the line fault is and type of it, but it could be a hr fault,if you can't make it recreate the noise with your router disconnected then, it would be for your isp to log it as a fault to bt openreach, where as if you do get it to reproduce the noise with no router connected, then you could report it as a voice fault(pstn)

Does the noise occur with a corded phone plugged into the test socket inside the master? Assuming you have an NTE5 master and not a new external NTE.
If so you may need to get hold of a person not an auto test.
If you have an external NTE (new build house?) then it could be the builders wiring from there inwards. Or builder's extension wiring which is often dodgy.

It's old wiring with a little junction type box which feeds to a small square master socket (no test socket).
I bought a BT Duet 20 corded phone and did the quiet line test with and without the broadband connected as well as with and without the microfilter. There is always noise on the line although it's reduced without the broadband equipment connected to the line but even with the corded telephone connected directly to the master socket there is still noise on the line.
I called BT and their line test appears to have made the line somewhat better in that the broadband stays connected for longer now but there is still noise on the line as described above. Also the broadband still loses sync when I pickup the telephone to make a call or when it rings.
I called BT again and it was suggested that I call BT Total Broadband support so I did that and the support guy did another line test with same conclusion of no fault found but after explaining the problems he booked an engineer so hopefully it'll be fixed soon!

It's fixed!
A test was failing suggesting HR (leg resistance?) but the engineer later diagnosed it as faulty broadband equipment at the exchange. He connected my line to different equipment and the noise on the line disappeared.
The line has been stable for over 24 hours with the downstream rate at ~14000 Kbps so I'm hoping it won't take long before the IP profile goes up from the 2500K showing in the BT speed tester.
