IP Profile?

Hi guys,

Been with BT for over a year now, and my IP pofile has been 7000 the whole time, when doing speed tests I would be getting 6.9mb which is great.......

Anyway today I reset my router, as it was unplugged the day before by mistake, and now for NO reason my IP profile has dropped down to 5000!!!!

Is there anyway to get this back up to 7000?

Here is the router stats

During the period before you reset it today you must have had a lower connection speed to cause the 5000kbps profile.

Those stats will give you a 7150 profile but it could take a few days. See my BT IP Profile page.

So I don't have to do anything? It should go up automatically in a few days???

Yep. Three to four days though. Two if you are very lucky. No need to resync, it just happens behind the scenes.

Yes. Leave it be and see what the stats say in a few day's time. If they stay like that it will improve of it's own accord.

The exchange i'm on is this one:

Now its just a small exchange, but in the last month they have added the TalkTalk LLU and when I go to there website and put in my details, they say I can get estimated 10.7mb download speed! Is that possible, since with BT I can only get a maximum 8mb's?

Load-a-rubbish .

I'd say somewhere between 15Mbps and 18Mbps connection speed.
