I (think) I stand corrected! Maybe!
You say
An iMac is not a PC.
Isn't it? I've never seen one, but why does Amazon advertise it as
New Apple iMac 21.5" All-In-One Desktop PC?
I think, maybe, y'all are being nit-pickers and are restricting "
PC" to mean only a "
Microsoft Windows PC". However regardless of this, I put it to you that the gist of my meaning was clear
P.S. Wikipedia agrees with my use:
A personal computer (PC) is any general-purpose computer whose size, capabilities, and original sales price make it useful for individuals, and which is intended to be operated directly by an end-user with no intervening computer operator. PCs include any type of computer that is used in a "personal" manner.
