If I take BT BB and I cancel after the contract..

... will I lose the phone line as well ?

Basically I've been a BT phone customer for years. As the thread title mentions, if I decide to cancel after the 18 month contract (for BB), will I have to give up the line as well ?

line rental, and broadband are separate contracts, even when both supplied by BT

If you cancel rather than migrate to another ISP you could be liable for a cancellation fee, currently £30.
