Sending email - Do domains work via BT SMTP Server?

Thinking of moving to BT broadband.
I can currently send emails via my ISPs SMTP server using my own domain email addresses once I have authenticated with their server.

Do BT's SMTP server (mail.btinternet.com I think) allow your domain From address to be passed through without being stripped off?

Yes it allows arbitrary "from". And since the switch from BT Yahoo to Openwave, third party email addresses don't even need prior validation to be set "from".
