Just surfing just now and several sites are not loading up. Has the heat got to the internet???

all the heat has expanded your line making it longer. thus, the signal takes longer to reach you

No BT is having connectivity issues with some key providers. My guess is they're working on it but it's been like this all day.

only site i noticed down was google. was off for a while yesterday. whether it was google itself or BT i dunno. or just my PC.

That would explain why my connection has been so poor tonight.
Normally average around 3.7 Mb, but tonight only been getting between 544kb and 2Mb and also getting a lot of dropped connections.

Routes to some providers in the USA and other places seemed compromised today, I lost some game servers and trace route showed a loooong way round....... better now.
