Dont forget a lot of people have "upgraded" just to get a HH only to find their speeds drop dramatically and more importantantly their lives taken over by BT trying to sort it out. Frankly I would think very carefully about what package you are on and if you can get out of it quickly I would stay where you are because the Broadband market is set to explode in the coming months and BT is still the most expensive for a c--- service and product.

I was on Option 4. Moving to Total Broadband saved me a few quid a month and allowed me to take advantage of free Broadband calls. What the marketing material does not tell you is that the HH is a piece of rubbish and your line speed will drop like a stone. Mine half'd from 6Mb to 2.5 - 3MB.
I have since put the HH back in the box and reconnected my Netgear and I am back at 6MB again. I still save a few quid but no free calls.
Or do as I did - complain to BT Customer Services (not India) and ask for a Voyager 2500v as an alternative. The router is good, has 4 ethernet ports and you can connect a DECT phone and get your free calls - perfect......
If the Universe is infinite - how can it be expanding.......
I cant get great speeds because of the distance from the exchange, but I just took out my homehub which I was getting 1.8 and put back in my netgear and I'm now getting 2.1, me thinks the homehub will now gather dust.
