Migrating from Pipex to BT

I'm trying to get away from Pipex but have had 2 mac codes (not over 30 days old) fail so far according to BT who say I need to get a new one but no reason why these fail??... anyone else had any luck migrating from Pipex?

I did, but it was at least a year ago.

Looks like Pipex don't want to use you and are supplying duff codes I have been with a number of ISP's now and none of them have issues with migration. Migrated from Nildram to BT without a hitch. likewise from Pipex to Plusnet and Plusnet to Nildram!!

I came from Demon with no hassle.

I had no problems leaving Pipex - the MAC code arrived very quickly and was correct. That was about 3 months ago though - the staff all seemed resigned to people leaving - they just accepted there was nothing they could do about their awful speeds and almost gave you the MAC code as soon as you complained. Shame really, they used to be really good.

Well since being called Public IP Exchange the service has been getting slowly worse and now is getting poorer now. Found one of their 1994 dial up floppy's cleaning out the other week!
