You need to wait a few days for your IP profile to adjust to the increased sync, this can sometimes take up to 4 days. This is all on the condition your speed stays at a similar speed to what it is just now.

Still syncing around the 1mb mark, on 768k now. This really is terrible and I do hope it improves.

Sounds like your target SNR has raised and thats why your sync is now slower than before, thats just a guess though.

Been connected at 2.6MB for nearly 2 days now and my IP Profile is still only 500k - will this go up if my connection speed remains constant?

No matter now, its just re-connected at 900k. Tried restarting the hub a few times but only getting connected at speeds between 700-900k. Its really frustrating knowing that about a month ago I was connected at 3MB!!!!

I've never had broadband this slow since I was with Orange last year!

You need to get those line issues sorted out before your IP profile will increase, its the nature of the beast unfortunately.

Your connected into the master socket without any extensions aren't you? Just make sure that their is nothing within your property or you own telephone lines/sockets within your house thats causing the problem.

The HH is plugged directly into the master socket, i've even removed other devices but to no avail. Must be an issue on the outside.
