hello my sister is with bt she currently has the vision broadband and phone she is 12 months into her six month contract she wishes to migrate to sky on phoning bt they have told her that she will have to pay for the remaining 6 months plus cancellation fee which amounts according to them over 300 pounds which to me seems a bit steep she dosnt mind paying but i just wanted to make sure before she did that this amount is correct thank you in advance beth

You mean 6 months into her 12 month contract?

£300 does seem a bit steep, maybe your sister would be better staying with BT for the six months, it will cost her less.

I suppose depending on what Broadband package she is on, but six months of option 3 is just over £146, so add in the BT vision and then the phone and it could be about righjt.

This is the problem with long contracts, you find a better deal, but you are stuck, unless you pay to get out.

Is your sister going to use Sky LLU broadband then

no i mean she has 6 months left or there abouts she's about 12 months into her contract just wondered if anyone new what the cancellation fees are she has an 18 month contact because she took the vision box as well

sorry unsure if its sky llu i just know she's getting the full package bb phone and tv i

cancellation fees are the remainder of her rental agreements for all of her services, probably line , bb and vision
