My homehub 2 has decided to throw a fit.
It seems to have done the auto-update that is going round just now, and is now on 8.1.H.G.
Unfortunately, the upgrade seems to have broken the telephone side of things...
1) Any attempt to use the shared contacts (to look up a number, try and save a new one, etc.) gives a "x - Not available" message.
2) None of the phones update their date and time from the hub.
Un- and re-registering the phones from hub or phone end makes no difference, and have power-cycled and soft reset the hub a few times (also phones) to no effect.
Anyone got any ideas? The very last option is to factory reset the hub and phones, but I've got two problems there,
a) I will definitely, definitely lose the contacts list if I do this.
b) The phone handsets don't accept the system pin of 0000 for a full reset.
Nice work Broadband Hardware People. A firmware upgrade that doesn't fix the real problems, but creates some new ones instead...
