Have a read of this site,

http://www.kitz.co.uk/

especially this page when it comes back up, (not working at the time of writing)

http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/IPprofile.htm

And that should tell you what you need to know.

Is this for First connection? Reason I ask is I had a line fault now corrected and just wondering when I might get back to my higher speed of 3165Kbs instead of 534Kbs.

IIRC the time period for a rise on Kitz is out of date, but the table of speeds/profiles is correct.

Fow a large percenatge rise, which yours looks like without the full figures, it can be a few hours to a couple of days. I expect overnight stands a chance. What profile you get all depends on the current connection speed, as line faults can affect that over the medium term as well.

Small jumps can take 5 days to get the profile rise.

Assuming you now have a decent connection speed you don't need to do anything more. The profile rises in the background and download speeds suddenly jump.

Still having problems then? Min4e is pretty stable at the moment, still not as fast as it was before they down graded our exchange.
