Historical Sync Information?

[link to this post]

Hi,

I have a relative on BT that seems to be getting intermittent connection problems, but they aren't tech savvy, and are too far away to keep popping round to see if they are real problems or perceived problems.

Is there a way to monitor your connection quality (sync speed) with BT Broadband?

I am a Zen customer, and they have a portal that shows all of your monthly usage, sync speeds, BRAS profiles etc.

Is there something similar on BT?

Thanks for your time.

Hi t222,

BT do not offer a service whereby you can monitor this information. All available options are on the Hub Manager. You can access this via your start menu.

If you have never accessed this before you will need to enter the serial number from the back of the hub.

If you install Routerstats or Routerstats lite, depending on which router is being used, you will be able to log the sync speed etc.

Only catch to this is that the Event Log on the hub stores approx 4 days info
