Interesting they say in their bumf that you can use a search engine to get one of your own..
There are quite a few out there but your right would be nice for them to give access to punters who use the service. I haven't even seen an online meter in your account online.. that would at least be a step in the right direction for those on limited plans.

They supposedly email you when your 80% of your usage.. but my colleague didn't get any and 3 months later has a massive bill for overuse..
They should at the very least only charge the Option 3 price..

"most"

But I have to disagree with you anyway. Nobody would sign up for Option 3 if they did that, and capacity planning (Ha! Ha!) would be even worse than now. Cash flow forecasting would also be a disaster area.

I am available on daily rates and could probably interface with an existing database, or clone just the usage parts for use on a website for users easily enough.

My last ISP Zen I could login to my account and see exactly how much bandwidth had been used. With so many devices accessing my router its just not practical to have a bandwidth meter installed on each device or possible with some.

BT need to sort this out.

Well I did.. lol
But I knew I would use it a lot..

If they told you that you were near your usage limit I could understand.. but if they really were customer focused then a letter through the door would be nice to say.. by the way we are changing your package since you keep using lots..

If I ran an ISP.. I think thats the way I would do it.
