Market 1 exchange with <500 lines and rural location. Long line >5km. Had broadband from Virgin up until last Monday. Switched to BT on the 7th.
Have been using BT2700HGV which has maintained a very stable typically slow but usuable speeds (sync at 0.75Mbs, download about 0.5Mbs).
Installed Home Hub - synced at 0.44 Mbs with download at 0.1 Mbs for 2 days then lost sync. Tried test socket with brand new (BT) filter but no sync.
Plugged 2Wire back in with brand new (BT)filter to test socket - synced again ( see data below) but download is 0.1Mbs
No extensions, wired phone, no Sky box, quiet line test OK, no ring wire.
I appreciate that there is a 10 day 'learning' period but so far its not looking good at all on exactly the same line i was on 4 days ago.
Just irritated really, 0.44Mbs is sh*t but functional,(and all i might expect i suppose) but 0.1Mbs is a distaster.
