Traffic management on Infinity (FTTC)

[link to this post]

Can I ask users experience of the BT traffic management on the Option 1 package excluding P2P.
For example downloading iPlayer (not streaming) and downloads from download sites/servers

Option 2. No problems with i-player or SkyPlayer in my experience so far. It all seems to run nice and smoothly - as it should do.

Is that streaming or downloading? The OP was specifically asking about downloading, which is very different from streaming.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - IDNet Home Starter Fibre. Live BQM.

well going on the downloading, I recall maxing out my connection on usenet but in all honesty I find the limit is more to do with the server rather than the connection to me.

Downloading and streaming via Sky Player - downloading movies to watch later & streaming sports as they're shown live. Streaming with i-player.
