Did you send us a PM (can't seem to find it!), or are you referring to the BTCare twitter guys?

I gather from your post that the connection has been banded, so provided the connection remains stable (i.e. Hub turned on and no drop-outs) the speed should go back up, but if after a few days you're not seeing a change get in touch, our Contact Us link is: http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4950

Fixed 512kbps is a 576kbps sync isn't it?
Yes. The 572kbps sync is why the IP Profile is 350kbps, not 500kbps.
