BT Infinity Modems Over Heated

I have come across a few examples from modems overheating and some saying they are on there 4th or even 5th modem. I am interested to see how many others have experienced this with BT ?

If you can just reply to this thread if you have experienced your modem to over heat or if you are on your 2nd or more modem since using BT Infinity

Surely it's a meaningless number without any comparison against the number with no problem, or the number in use? (The last two amounting to the same thing).

A high percentage of these issues can be resolved by the modem being wall mounted. There is also some mileage in ensuring that 'special needs' engineers actually replace both the power supply AND the modem when they visit.
