Infinity, the nightmare begins ?

Saturday night 23:00 --
I honestly knew there would be some congestion, but THAT level when we are technically the first 'few' to use it (my cabinet has just been upgraded) is a really, really bad sign. The problem lastest for an hour or so, then gradually cleared.
Before you ask, yes, I tried quite a few other servers.

Could be your profile hasn't been updated to match your switch to FTTC. As you can't get your stats from the router, you'll need to do a BT Speedtest and copy the results here.

I have my stats from the router, I have unlocked the modem on the first day I'm very comfortably at 40/10, it's clearly not the line itself

Did you try http://speedtester.bt.com at the time?

No, why should I ? My IP "profile" has nothing to do with local congestion.

There are quite a few reports that Infinity slows down at peak times, starting a couple of months ago. It's only to be expected. Considering the package and price they will be attracting all the "download the internet" brigade, who frankly don't care if it slows at times. They just let it run 24/7 and don't look at peak time speeds.

For starters, all Sky unlimited and Be unlimited heavy downloading customers who can get Infinity will have moved to it.

if its over a period of time then it's a nightmare, it might just be a one off blip.
