Switching to Infinity - Q's on Traffic Management

My exchange has now been upgraded and I could now move to BTInfinity which, according to the BT website would give me a 20mb down/5mb up connection for roughly the same price that I pay now (with O2) for half that speed.

A couple of questions for anyone already using BTInfinity (and kind enough to answer).

a) Are there any issues with stuff like BBC iPlayer, Apple TV etc being interfered with by traffic management ?

b) any other issues generally, but more so with Traffic Management? We use Skype quite a lot, for instance.

I'm a bit paranoid over this stuff as I have an early version of the O2 contract that has no caps and no traffic management. I was with BT for a few months a couple of years ago but they had to let me out of the contract because my speeds fell so low as soon as "peak hours" were reached that the service was often virtually unusable for anything other than emails and web pages.

I have just switched to Infinity and have found the speeds to be very good at all times of the day.
I use iPlayer in HD and there does not appear to be any speed or connection issues ATM.
very pleased I made the switch from Entanet who I must state have been VERY reliable and good although a tad on the expensive side.

So where do you get 75Mbps from, if it's real? 80/20 isn't out yet is it? Or am I lagging behind the times?

I too switched from O2 and was concerned about caps. So far, seems to run fine. From what I can see from reading posts, it's only Torrents that are capped/Tm'd. I don't use them, so not an issue for me.

There are some FTTC 80Mb trials in place - and I have heard that in some cases BT have introduced it without telling the customers.
