Infinity lead time

Can anybody tell me about how long it was from their Infinity cabinet being installed (ok - visible on the roadside as I've no idea if mine is actually cabled up) to when orders could be placed please?

Cab round the corner from me was Put in about July last , Went live 1st this month,

About 5-6 months in my case

Hells bells. The neighbouring exchange was due March and you can order at least some places for that now so it was on time.

I think the part I emphasise is the point. What about the other places on it?

It seems to happen on many exchanges, for a variety of reasons.

Cabinet went in about August 2010, checker said 30/09, then 31/12, then 31/03, then changed t0 03/02/2012 and that was the day I ordered Infinity, installed just over a week later on 11/02

A work colleague who live a few hundred yards from me, same exchange, different cabinet (which went in about the same time as mine) was able to order about 6 weeks before me. Another colleague, same exchange, roughly the same distance away, still cannot get fibre now over a year later.

Other extreme for us. Works started last week in Feb, I placed my order last Tuesday, so there's no real correlation
