The sales staff aren't aware of any other companies offering FTTC either.
I get calls from their sales team every now and then, trying to tell me how good Infinity is and why I should switch to fibre. Some seem to understand when I say I already have it (through another ISP) but some seem really confused. None of them listen to my request that I be taken off the list of people who are happy to take sales calls...

I had a spate of calls from BT sales, all in a matter of weeks, a few days apart. I complained through the BT web site and received the following email response from BT;
Thanks for your e-mail

I am sorry that you are getting unwanted marketing calls from BT. I have updated our marketing list and this can take up to 28 days so if you get any marketing in between please disregard. Also you can register your details on the Telephone Preference Scheme this will stop any other UK companies calling you about various products. The website is www.tpsonline.org.uk

I hope this clears all your questions and concerns and if theres anything else youd like to know, try our help pages online at www.bt.com/help. You can also see the various ways you can contact us if you do need further assistance.

Thank you for contacting BT.

Youll receive an email survey soon about how I've dealt with your query, Id really appreciate you taking the time to complete it

Best wishes

Hope this helps!

Well it's activated I'm on infinity now but my upload is still capped at 2mb, the modem shows I can get 8 meg up. I've tried ringing up but becuase the checker says my line can only support 1mb they say they can't do anything, why in life is everything such a struggle lol. I might aswell just stayed on option 3 with fibre as my contract was up in a few months, I'm not sure were to go from here any ideas?.
