It isn't the router that gives you them on FTTC, it is the Openreach modem. But Openreach have locked it down so you can't get at them.
The Huawei 612 has been hacked to get at them, and other things. That's how we do it. The ECI modem which is used in some areas has not, so we can't get them from that.
If you have the Huawei 612 as on
this page, then the instructions are in the panel on the right, and the required firmware is in the next link down - "Unlocked firmware images".
If you do that then you have command-line access to full stats, and there is also a set of graphing tools available elsewhere, (not on that site that I know of), to do a running check of various things.
If that's all beyond what you feel happy doing, then the nearest you get is running the
BT Performance tester, which when it is in a good mood gives you the IP Profile. That is just above the speed you ought to get on real downloads.
