BT Speedtester shows between 0.01mbps and 1.15

Is this the sort of problem that i will still have if i move ISP?

Is that the speed you are seeing now?

And it is significantly different to what was happening at 04:00 this morning. If so there could be an external influence.

Run all 6 speedtester sequentially with Windows Task manager running.

BT; BT Beta; TBB Java; TBB Flash; Speedtest.net; and Visualware.

Record all results and host a screen shot of Task Manager and provide a link to the image.

Repeat this several times; Now, 23:00; early AM (02:00) 09:00 and midday. We can then see how it varies.

It is, but it allows you to see how they are all performing and if one achieves a decent speed it rules out the line &c

Done. but no test is going to get a good speed.. it is the line thats the issue.

all the other computers in the house are getting the same lack of any speed

Right sort of idea ... but wrong part of Task Manager ...

Select the Networking tab, and get all results on a single plot so they can be compared: An example. without any of the other parts of the screen.

Network utilization dont even get close to 0.5%!

Set your network card to 100Mb which will show a 500kbps as 0.5%

Ive got to wait for BT wholesale to send someone to the exchange and connect me to another DSLAM. Could take up to 2 weeks to get done!! [censored]!

1hour to download 60mb or 50k ish a sec.. for another 2 weeks. [censored] Sake. Even 1 more day of this is unbearable

Was getting 6mb this morning at 4am

then down to 1mb at 6am ish

now at 12, its down to 50-70k

Does BT Wholesale work on a saturday/sunday?
