Dropout

Twice this week infinity broadband has dropped out. Had to reset modem. Is BT having problems.

No, but it sounds like you are. Can you be more specific about these drop outs?

Hi Batboy I usually switch of computer at night but always leave infinity broadband on. a couple of times recently, having booted the computer i find that ihave no internet connection. I reset the modem & everything is fine. I have tried rebooting the computer rather than resetting the modem but that has no effect so I presume it must be something to do with broadband itself. any ideas would be appreciated. Everything is fine at the moment.

Can you ping the router?
Can you ping 8.8.8.8?
Anything in the router's log about PPPoE?
