Leaving BT Infinity

Looking at my bill I am wondering if I should be looking around for a better deal? Sky is not an option as they do not do fibre on my exchange however Plusnet do could save myself a tenner? Usage is about 100GB I would say max a month, any recommendations or stick with where I am at. Of course the whole idea is to see where BT can go with price

If you're at the end of your BT contract perhaps they can reduce your price a little

PlusNet used to have a 100Gb limit, which they have just upgraded to 250Gb. I thought their £19.99 was only for the first three months, but I see that as long as you are in a low cost area, that is the long term price. They do have quite a bit of traffic shaping, but are very open about it on the appropriate web page.

Traffic shaping on fibre, (I don't know about the rest), has apparently been relaxed. A minimum of 2Mbps. The website to be updated soon.

interesting, keeping my eyes peeled as such. I suppose I am paying the price for jumping on the fibre band wagon! Nowt wrong with the service per say but always looking to save a few quid.

Don't forget most ISP charge for an FTTC >> FTTC migration, as they get a hefty charge themselves. ALways look for cashback such as QUidco and TopCashBack.

Why's that? Does it take an army of engineers to accomplish the task
