Is there something wrong with these results?

If my line is so bad that my download is set to 21Mbps, then shouldnt my upload be set to something lower than 20Mbps? Confused!

Im expecting a call from the "engineering team" in the next 48 hours. Hopefully they can sort something out.

Since this thread is all about acheived speed on a 350M (or so) line length are you absolutely, 100% certain that you are connected to the PCP in question?

If you are how do you know?

If connected to a different PCP this would explain the speeds you are getting.

Have you got a Huwaea modem? If so you can unlock it easily and get access to the line stats which, in reality, are necessary to make any progress.

Is this a distance that would explain the speeds being achieved?

Is the location it shows on the map not the location of the cabinet?

It it doesnt have that information.

Is the point on the map not the centre of the postcode you have put in?

No. I misread at first and thought it was the cabinet location but its the exchange location.

I'm in a similar position to the OP - I'm just coming to the end of my 'stabilisation period' and am trying to work out if there's a problem with the install or not. I was also told by BT cust service that it would sort itself out at the end of the 10 days.

My pre-order estimate was for 50.4 down and 13.2 up. From the first moment the open reach modem (ECI) synced up I've had ~40 down and ~2.5 up according to various testers incuding bt wholesale. The bt wholesale tester has always reported my profile as 41.01 down and 20 up and looking at google maps I estimate I'm 700m to 850m from the PCP.

My connection is rock solid, the PPPoE connection hasn't reset once and it certainly doesn't *seem* like any DLM has been going on. Does any of this indicate a problem or should I just be happy with what I've got?

Edit - Not so worried about the download speed but had hoped the upload would've been closer to the estimate.

well unless you have access to the raw pppoe and sync stats you cant be sure its stable, and I assume you need to unlock the modem for those stats?

I have seen people say their FTTC is stable then they post a tbb graph which shows an obvious DLM resync (base latency changing after packet loss).
