XBOX live performance

Downloading episode 1 of the walking dead (today special offer), and a 400meg package is coming down at a crawl, I checked live speeds in my router and its averaging 4mbit/sec.

Is anyone else on BT able to check a download on xbox live to see if fast? and is this typical for ininity on xbox live as its the first time I hve downloaded on xbox live since moving.

I will test episode 2 over VM to see comparison.

I don't download many TV shows, but films and demos etc. seem to download at full 45mb sync on Infinity 2. Certainly a lot faster than 4mbit.

Haven't been on since before Christmas, though.

I noticed a game download didn't max out my O2 connection. Probably just the xbox live network being busy after Xmas. There'll be new people coming on-line, lots of people still off work and kids not at school, bound to have an affect.

I don't have an XBox - but iTunes downloads can saturate my line.

seems better now, although maxes out around 30mbit/sec. so still lower than who got 45mbit/sec.
