The profiles switched over at 00:08 last night, the packet loss is still present. Waiting on a reply from Ed, guessing an engineer will be coming round.

Did the switch affect your connection in any way?

Nah, just the basic re-sync. Though it switched to fastpath 28 mins before the profiles changed that was a bit weird.

Maybe the DLM was reset so you're on a wide-open profile at the moment?

Did the modem sync speed change?

Nah just on 40/10 so It didn't try the higher frequencies.

Though I'm thinking maybe it could be the filter/master socket as it was replaced last time an engineer was here to fix my line about a week before the packet loss.

He replaced it due to an error he or the guy at help desk hadn't ever seen before, he thought it wouldn't remove the error from the line test but it did just pot luck. He was ready to go climbing as well, lucky for him. smile

It re-synced at 00:36 though that was automatic, the change was done at 00:08.
