Yes, I doubt "mod" is the correct word or even abbrev. It's just a specific BT Contact Us form.
Mod is the correct term, as they are moderators on the BT Community forum.

In reply to a post by Merly:
My connection has deteriorated even further, I'm now down to less than 2 meg, BT Vision will stop working soon I guess. Looks like it disconnected in the night.

Uptime: 0 days, 3:14:46
Why has your connection got this uptime?

No idea, I leave the hub on all the time, I presume it disconnected at some point.

That will be the problem. The constant disconnections will cause DLM to put you on a banded profile.

It's weird that the hub worked perfectly for 5+ years and the day they change me to adsl2+ it's possibly failing, I have a homehub 1 - is it compatible with ADSL2+ ?

Exactly the reason I suggested running Router Stats Lite - you can see what the connection is doing.

Get it to track Downstream Sync speed and SNR at 10 second intervals (if possible) or 30 seconds if that fails. Put teh graphs on an image hosting site and post links.

Here are the first two graphs:

Keep it running all day at the shortest sampling interval that you can. What happened at 10:46 or was that when you started it running?

The SNR graph seems a little odd being FLAT ! I would expect to see some minute by minute changes. This is an old one of mine showing both Down (Rx) and Up (Tx) figures.

SNR

It demonstrates how the noise level changes continually and the gradual changes over a day on the downstream.
