Someone suggested in PM it could be a glitch with touch-screen kit. Also suggested a work-around.
I've worked a bit on that theory but got nowhere yet. Just now I had a go on my old non-touch Vista laptop and like you all, no problem.
I'll report back if I crack it. Thanks again
